- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆This may be a pawn shop in a nice area, but don't let that deceive you. These are just thugs that selected a smart location. I tried to sell a ring there with an market value appraisal (not an insurance appraisal...those are two very different things with different values) a month ago (been out of town for a while so that took priority over this review, but I still wanted to make sure others knew the truth) with a VERY reputable appraiser. They still wouldn't even give me a 1/4th of the market value price. I understand they would offer me like 1/2 for wholesale because they have to make profit too, but they wouldn't even negotiate. Once I tried to negotiate, the guy I worked with turned VERY ugly like he was from some gangster wannabe rap video. Don't go to these people EVER. We are all on hard times, but don't let greedy thugs take advantage of you. Be smart; get educated, get a market value appraisal from an independent appraiser, and go to other places to sell your jewelry; don't get ripped off and treated like crap.By David Mitchell, May 21, 2017
